Sculpture: Nephylum     Price: Item Not For Sale This piece is my favorite bone sculpture. The main part is made from what is called a crucifix fish. This fishes skull by itself looks like a crucifix with Christ on the cross. It is often hung in homes of Christians in the Philippines. It also has pieces of jaw bones off a rodent of some kind. I am not quite sure what some of the other bones are from. What is strange is I made this piece, then flipped it over and saw it also looked just like a locust! It sort of freaked me out. I just added a couple of antennas and that was it, it looks just like a bone locust when turned upside down. It measures 6 in. tall x 5 in. wide.
